Self-learning color sensor CR100-PM for print mark detection
Changing jobs in printing, banding or wrapping machines often require the teaching of a new color mark.
With the CR100-PM (print mark version of the known CR100) this process is automated as the sensor separates the color mark automatically from the background.
A teach-in is no longer required.
As the basic sensor CR100, the print mark version also has a compact housing of 50x50x21mm³ and can be coupled to the application comfortably through a fiber cable.
Due to the fast response time of only 50µs, color marks can be detected at speeds over 10m/s and mark sizes in the millimeter range.

Revision of the VLM-Series
We will introduce now the new product line VLM320.
The technical data from above the VLM250 are improve significantly by using a 32 bit processor.
Some highlights: update time is from 0.2 ms; measurement from very slow speed, at lower speeds up to 15x more raw signal possible;
improved reproducibility by 32-bit processing; moving averaging and internal length measurement for all types.

New Firmware Version 8.0 for VLM 200/250 Series
There have been made improvements in terms of hardware monitoring and fault management.
There are new commands and functions which make easier the commissioning and the alignment of the devices on thin wires and tubes.
Furthermore, the new pulse output board IF3 will be detected and supported
(The new IF3-series with enhanced resolution will replace IF2 boards.).
Hints:
The VLM 250 firmware can be updated with the program VLMTERM. Please send us a request by e-mail (serial no. is necessary).
For the VLM 200 it is necessary to changed the EPROM.
A firmware upgrade for the VLM 200 costs € 25.00 without and € 55.00 with printed manual (+ transport costs and VAT.).
