Optics

Suitable optics for each application

Suitable optics for each application.

Each application has its characteristics. In order to meet the geometric requirements regarding measuring spot size and working distance, there are different optics for all CROMLAVIEW® color sensors which have an optical fiber connection. Besides the above-mentioned geometric parameters, they also differ regarding their compatibility with the available fibers. On the one hand, there are reflected light and through beam types, and on the other hand there are different fiber heads. Please find more information on Optical fibers here.

FOR-C2.0-35

Premium optics with achromatic lenses for homogenous illumination of the measuring object without any colored fringes on the edges. Optics can be combined with each optical fiber with a C2.0 connection (M6).

FOR-C2.0-50

Inexpensive optics for measuring distances in the range of 35 mm ... 60 mm. Optics can be combined with each optical fiber with a C2.0 connection (M6).

FOR-A2.0-10

This optics is suitable for very small measuring surfaces, such as the color detection on cables or contact pins. Optics can be combined with each optical fiber with an A2.0 connection.

FOD-A2.0-100

This optics is suitable for measuring distances in the range of 70 mm ... 150 mm. The transmitting and the receiving lenses are separated, so that optical fibers with higher profiles can provide for good signal quality. Through beam optics with A2.0 heads are used for the connection with a color sensor. Due to the separation of the transmitting and the receiving optical paths, soiling does not have the same strong effect as with optics with a reflex connection. Preferably, this optics is used with the sensors CR200 and CR210.

FOD-A2.0-300

The optics is suitable for larger measuring distances in the range of 150 mm ... 400 mm. The transmitting and the receiving lenses are separated, so that optical fibers with higher profiles can provide for good signal quality. Through beam fiber optics with A2.0 heads are used for the connection with a color sensor. Due to the separation of the transmitting and the receiving optical paths, soiling does not have the same strong effect as with optics with a reflex connection. Preferably, this optics is u sed with the sensors CR200 and CR210.

FOD-M4.0-1100

The optics is suitable for very large measuring distances in the range of 300 mm ... 2000 mm. The transmitting and the receiving lenses are separated, so that optical fibers with higher profiles can provide for good signal quality. Through beam fiber optics with M4.0 heads are used for the connection with a color sensor. Due to the separation of the transmitting and the receiving optical paths, soiling does not have the same strong effect as with optics with a reflex connection. Because of the enormous working distances this optics can only be used with the high-performance sensors CR200 and CR210.
