Measurement of impact energy
Areas:
Forge hammer
Measured Variables:
Impact energy (VLM)
Description:
With an acceleration of up to 20,000m/s² forge hammers are exposed to extremely high dynamic strain. This energy input impact on the work piece can be calculated from the velocity curve of the hammer. Two VLM measuring devices record the velocity values and directions for the upper and the lower die and the registered impact energy is calculated and recorded with special software.
Products: VLM500, VLM502
