Description:
The application of clear varnish on the printing image of a tin gives it a special finish. Clear varnish and printing image, however, need to be one on top of the other. Offset can be detected with a color sensor in the dual-channel mode. One channel detects start and finish of the printing image, whereas the second channel records the clear varnish application at these transitions. In accordance with the time-wise synchronicity of the output results the offset can be adjusted.
